Yeah the brake dust is ridiculous in front but i like emm
That came out great. I was just hoping it wasn't flat black, it has a tendency to look like cheap black plastic. The white matches your ride nicely. How does it hold when cleaning?
The plasti dip is pretty easy, i used index cards to block the paint from the tire (worked great) the paint sticks really really well to the wheel balance weights, they have kind of a rubbery texture to them because the plasti dip is just a plastic rubber compound so they are more difficult to clean but not that bad but you can use just soap and water cleans them up pretty good, so does the power washer from your local car wash, but they're very durable no chip or scratches even when power-washed, and its been about a month so far, i did the white with the pearlizer overcoat, you can buy the pearlizer from www.dipyourcar.com. I did use 4 coats of white dip, and 4 coats of the pearlizer, i think 3 coats of pearl would have made them a little brighter i hope i've answered everyones questions! Haha if any just comment! ( by the way, i HIGHLY recommend doing this because if at any point you change your mind and want a different color, you can peel if off if you try, but it wont peel by itself!
Brw before you try this look up videos of how to's on youtube there are tons! It just gives a little bit of know how before you start, good luck if you try it!
This looks great! i like the red lug nuts too, gives it a good balance with the rest of the car. keep us posted on how well the plastidip holds up over time. ive been considering doing this myself on my wheels.
I bought 4 cans of white an 4 cans of pearl and ended up with a little bit in each of the whites and one whole pearl so i would stick with 3-4 cans of base(white) and 3 cans of pearl
