i have a 07 MCS and im wondering what the wires are that go in to the cold air intake tube near where it attaches to the turbo. its on the same fitting that the pcv line goes into. also i want to know if it necessary?sorry for the poor description im kinda new to engines. thanks for any help.
i dont think its the MAF cause thats is the sensor near the filter. this is the sensor near the turbo. its part of the fitting that the pcv line is attached to.
The one on the PCV line, where it joins the air hose to the turbocharger, is a heater. It prevents water vapor from the PCV system from freezing at the inlet to the turbocharger.
