What's this actually called? My AC also whines like explained above. Don't want to pay around 100,- for a little piece of aluminum.
Edit: found what is actually called. A hose weight. Figures .....

I'd try one of these if I could find one. Edit: It's called a pipe repair clamp, at least it is in the UK.
Does anyone know if just grabbing the pipe while it is running fixes the problem?
