Hi there

2010 MC, 13K miles. Had a water pump leak (posted here), dealer replaced it. I think this noise started then, but not 100% sure, thus asking.

I usually don't run the AC, but have been lately.

At low speeds, if I have the fun on, there isn't any noise, out of the ordinary.

The minute I press the AC button, a rattling/fan whirring noise starts. Almost like the really old cars, kinda like a "clatter." At speeds over 20mph, noise goes away. Again if I slow down, noise comes back.

Is this normal? Or a dealer visit recommended?

 

see the 'Noise when turning a/c on' thread. Short of it is there is a TSB that helps.
