Direct Injection?

Does the 2007 R56 have direct injection?
I see many posts that refer to the S and not quite clear on google if the 1.6 R56 has it or not.
I believe it has multi port and NOT GDI

Can someone set me straight please.

From what I know about this is the R56 justa is not direct injected but the Turbo is and thats why it has carbon build up problems and needs to be walnut blasted occasionally. Maybe some others can chime in with what they know.
