There is plenty of room back there for kids in an MCS.
The fun part will be getting them in there and buckling them in peroperly until they grow up big enough to climb and buckle in by themselves. Mine go there by around time they were 2 (IIRC), but until then, it would have been a pain to do that with a 2-door car.
