Oil Cap Problem

Hello,

Please help!
I have tried several times to take the oil cap off, it turns a bit and it feels like it's about to come off, but it doesn't. Is there a special trick to do it?
Oh, it's an '07 S.
Thanks in advance.

The oil cap just twist to the left. It tightens and locks a little bit, move up just a hair. Make sure it twisted all the way then pull up.

It should turn roughly 90 degrees and pull off. Maybe rock it back and forth a bit as you pull up.

Also try pushing down a little while turning, like the caps on prescription pill bottles. Works for me at least, especially when the motor has been run for a while.

it may be defective. i had mine replaced by dealer under warranty since it was leaking out blowby/oil. that fixed the issue
