Strange window memory setting after battery jump

Hi,

Another question. Recently my 2010 Mini battery needed a jump after a couple weeks idle in very cold weather. After it was jumped and driven for 45 minutes or so, the Mini seemed fine. But there is one quirk that has me a bit baffled.

When powering off the vehicle, the passenger side window rolls down a very slight amount, about 1/2 inch. When powering it back up I have to manually flick the power window switch to roll the passenger window all the way. The drivers side window does not do this and works fine.

It almost seems like the window setting is related to the key fob memory settings but I am not certain. Is this possible? Is there a way to clear any "preferences" and reset them to defaults? I don't mind if this also clears radio stations or bluetooth pairings or anything else. The weird window behavior only started after the battery was revived so I wonder if a setting somehow got corrupted during the time it was idle and out of juice.

thanks!

I might be wrong, but try starting the car then rolling the window down by holding the switch down, and keep holding down it for about 10 seconds. Then roll window up using the same technique. I think that resets the window position memory.
