Help! Tow truck ruined my mini

[IMG]http://mmanuts.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/photo.jpg[/IMG

AS above, I am now 1 exhaust tip short. Any suggestions on where to purchase a replacement. I have looked online and am having a heck of a time finding OEM replacement.

Also, is this an easy DIY fix?

It's part #7 as shown below:

Any MINI parts vendor can get you the part.

Its an easy install, slide the unit on and tighten the little screw. Make sure the tip is back far enough in alignment with the original length of the other tip.

This is the standard one that looks like a bottom of the can of soda.

Thanks

I had mine knocked off in a rear-ender. I picked one up at the scene and kept it. It is sitting on my desk as a pencil holder. They installed the new exhaust and set the tips to what they were before the "OMG! I didn't know they were hot" recall setting. So they show good.

I'm assuming that since losing one tail pipe tip "ruined" your mini, you will be applying to your insurance company to have it totaled and replaced!
