Quick Advice Needed

I returned home from a three week business trip to find out the battery was dead on my R56 MCS. It's about 4 years old, and coupled with the lack of use while I was away and the cold weather, it's to be expected.

I can walk to a Pep boys, where I see that they have a Bosch 47 listed as being compatible. But from what I've read, a 48 will fit, and is the better option

Has anyone experience with Bosch batteries? Any other advice before I go buy it?

Thanks!

Looks like you solved your problem, but there are newer and possibley better options. There are a couple of companies that are making Li ion batteries for car. The ones listed for the MINI weigh about 3.5#'s and have more CCA and longer A/hr ratings. But the downside is they cost about $230...

Yeah, had to go with what I could find close by. $100 so wasn't too bad either on the wallet.
