Keyless Entry on Passenger Side

Question for those who have the comfort (keyless) entry option. When I walk up to the driver side door I enter as I should without having to press the unlock on the key fob. Just press the little button on the door handle to unlock , open the car door and great I'm in. When I have a passenger though, I do the same to get in the car but my passenger (wife) presses the little button but the door doesn't unlock, I have to end up pressing the unlock button on key fob or jump in and unlock door.
Are we doing something wrong? Is there a sequence that you have to do to let the passenger side be keyless entry too? Like I unlock my door then she presses the little button?

If I understand you correctly, you unlock the door on the drivers side and it does not unlock the passenger door at the same time. This should be controlled by a setting in the OBC. Make sure it is set to unlock all doors and not just the current door. The instructions are on page 19 of the (2007)owners manual.

As COOP310 states, you can adjust your unlock set-up with the OBC (well described in the owners manual). As I recall, you can either set it to unlock both doors with one push of the unlock button or you can set it to unlock the driver's door with one push and the passenger's door with a second push of the button, which was the factory default. I have mine set to open both doors - more convenient for me. Also, as a side note, if your wife / passenger has the other key fob and pushes the unlock button first on the passenger side, it will change all the settings in the car, such as radio programed selections, to the ones programed to that key fob. This happens occasionally to me when my wife gets to the car first and decides to unlock it before me.
