Touchless car wash wasn't so touchless today...

Anyone know where the Paint Code is located on a 2013? I looked in the usual places it's "supposed" to be, and have not located it. It's white silver, but I'd like to verify the code (and the OCD in me wants to solve the mystery of where it is)

Edit: just a small nick on the front bumper, so will likely just order the official small touch up paint through Mini/BMW

Mini paint codes will be located on the passenger side firewall, or on the passenger side strut tower. They are three digits long and may contain numbers and letters. Most codes are three numbers.

 

Yeah - I checked in both places. The only thing on the strut tower is the VIN and you can't see much of the firewall due to the battery location

Yeah I don't know where it is either. Had a sticker on my '12 but nothing on the '13....

I don't need any touch up, just wondering where the sticker went...

 

From my understanding is they don't put the paint code decals on anymore. I was told the dealer can look it up from the VIN. I dont know if this is true or not.

 

I just heard from a friend at a dealership and this is the response I got "The paint code sticker is underneath the driver's side door panel located on the sticker directly below the VIN number. But the best way to get the most accurate paint color is with the last 7 digits of your VIN"

Look like its under the VIN near the right of the bar code.
