Power Windows Problem

So I just picked up my 2013 R56 on Monday. I took it to work this morning, pulled into a parking space, put the car in park, left it idling and relaxed in the car for a minute and then someone pulled up next to me ask me a question. I went to put the window down and the switch did not respond. I tried the passenger side as well, and that didn't work either. I opened the door to answer the guys question. When he left, I turned the engine off, removed the key fob, and then put the fob back in and restarted the car. The windows suddenly worked again. Am I missing something? Is there any way that the windows might lock themselves?

Hard to say; have you tried to recreate the situation again to see if it repeats?
If so, time for a dealer visit as you're clearly under warranty.
