New JCW Aero Kit for 2013 models

In the final stages of completing install of my new 2013 JCW Aero Kit on my R56. Only new addition is the front bumper...Multi pieces/looks more aggressive to me!

If you live in San Diego, Temecula, Murrietta, or Orange County and looking to get a JCW Aero Kit for your mini (any year), see my buddy Aaron Green at San Diego Mini in Kearny Mesa and he will "hook you up!!!" As you can see from my pics below, I am a very happy camper!!"

It looks great! Did the shop paint your wheel arches too? I got the aero kit on my 2012 MCS, but it still has the black wheel arches and bottom front bumper. I think the painted look is much better.

Yes! Gave Aaron specific instructions to paint the wheel arches and front lip bumper.

How did the brake ducts go? I thought the ducts were plumbed to the front brakes.

Did you have to ditch the rear fog/ reverse lights?

It looks clean and I also like the painted wheel arches. It's a more dramatic change on other colors thought. But still looks stealthy!

Brake ducts were fine. Had to order new lights for rear bumper.

Itberic, you mentioned the JCW aero kit is 2013. What year is your R56 though?

A 2013......The 2012 JCW Aero Kit front bumper wouldn't fit on my 2013, so it was confirmed that there was a new aero kit for 2013 models.

Yup, same front spoiler! A 2012 Aero Kit was originally order for my 2013, but had the older front bumper that didn't fit.

Yeah I noticed a while back that LCI models had the multi-piece. I like it, it gives it some more character but I think I like the older one better with clean lines.

itberic what wheels are those? Car looks great. Kill all that amber with fire!

I have one on order with MINI and I was told there was no production date for them yet. :( Obviously that is not true!

To add a 2nd reverse light, you'll need to swap out your rear fog for a reverse light from a right-hand drive car (British home market, Aussie/NZ, etc.) US dealers may not be able to order them, but I've seen references here on NAM to vendors who can source these parts. Sorry - don't have time to search for them right now.
