BOV noise

I have a stock 2009 JCW and think I want to hear the BOV vent air a little more. What is the best method to do this? Not looking to spend a fortune.

remove the stock airbox and replace with an aftermarket cold air intake like alta etc. you will here the BOV just fine.

They are less than 300 bucks for the alta. Thats the cheapest route.

Any other ways? I want to stay stock for autocross and he CAI can't be changes. Also it seems most people report that none make more power than the stock box.

This is what I did and have seen or felt no changes other than being able to hear the air being sucked in while the turbo spools up and of course the BOV when I let off the throttle.

Haha. The OP of that thread was the original owner of my car. See the resemblance?

The easiest way is to install an intake, I recommend the ddm street intake.
