Well, looks like I am joining the Bayswater club. Just order a MCS Bayswater in black. I like the detail and options but have a question for the group.

Has anyone seen a black Bayswater with a roof decal in grey or blue? Black body was not my first choice so I thought a roof treatment might liven it up.

I like the bayswater idea so much I just ordered a set of scuttles and mirror caps to put on my 2013 kite blue clubman to have a faux bayswater. I originally used the bonnet stripes as inspiration to have my stripes put on. I was thinking of replacing my stripes as well but like my black stripes too much and they are continued across my back barn doors.
When first looking at MINI's I test drove a new BOND street version, loved it but the sticker price was more than I was willing to spend but the bayswater I did not know about and lucky me my clubbie is kite blue.

 

Still not decided on whether to add blue and gray to my stripe or start over with factory, leaning towards adding stripe of each on existing. Please don't be mean as I knows it's just the outside but I love the Bayswater scheme.

 

Funny. I replaced my scuttles with a standard one (s) and removed my stripes! I didn't like how the bayswater insert on the scuttles would kind of peal off. I would have to press them back in to stick every time it got warm. And I thought the stripes were "weak". I do decals and signs and I did not like how the colored plastic sticker didn't "pop" when you saw it. It looks much better on a black than kite. I think. But good job on the 'faux'. I would for sure have to do a double take!

 

Ok , my faux bayswater is now restriped boot to bonnet. For sure unique.

I agree. I just like the color combo of blue and grey . And idea how many bayswaters were produced ? I can't find any numbers on it.

Nice photo, in the shade the Kite Blue almost has a purplish tint. Post up some more.

 

I was messing with the MINIUSA site the other day and just realized that the Bayswater Package is no longer an option.. I guess they aren't offering it for the F56??
Also noticed that the current Clubman is being phased out.

 

I am not a proud owner of a black 2013 bayswater mini s. I'm trying to find total production numbers of this car, anybody have some numbers for me? I'm curious.

 

Glad to say I'm now a Bayswater owner! Can't wait to go through this whole thread and check out everybody elses.

I'm proud to be a recent addition to the Bayswater club! Stumbled onto one at a dealer, next to a Mini dealer. The selling dealer was clueless about most of the car, particularly the BW package. I really think I stole it. I'll post some pics ASAP.

Traded my 2010 MCS/CR in with this 2013 MCS Bayswater edition in eclipse metallic gray. Loved my chili red but this beauty is a steal! Fully loaded with only 4700 miles on the clock!
Changes made...chrome front grille trims to black, hood scoop and rear hatch handle replaced with carbon fiber.

 

Bayswater in eclipse gray, very rare. Congrats/
