Any upgraded Mufflers for just a few hundred dollars out there?

Hi there, my name is Rob, less than a week a got myself a 2008 Cooper S..So far im enjoying the car but cant help but want more from the exhaust notes..

I hate loud obnoxious exhausts so im looking for something that is a little throatier sound and has a nice crackle on the back pressure..

I think i'm only looking to spend up to maaaaybe 400? possible?

Thanks!

Somewhere on ebay theres a catback for less than $400. I think its called CNT. A few people have bought some on here. If thats your budget thats the cheapest Ive seen for a full cat/downpipe back.

check out the magnaflow 14816
Amazon Amazon

I'm gonna be getting one within the next month. Normal price online is about $205 and it should be as simple as welding up hangers and replacing the muffler...$50 at an exhaust shop. Amazon has it for $140 right now.

nice! looks like the perfect cheap upgrade for my fiances 08 MCS. she wont put much money into mods so I will probably end up buying all the mods for it, which takes mod money away from my Evo. please post a vid when you do it!

Will do, however mine will be without the resonator as it is already removed.

No problem, I will be doing the resonator mod within the next couple weeks anyway since it wont cost me a dime to do it at work.

Yeah I was thinking a custom exhaust shop could come up with a tasteful idea for it but the magnaflow one may work just fine.. I really like how the upgraded 3" tips look as well

CNT Racing catback

CNT Racing catback exhaust is good bang for your buck. By no means is it loud or obnoxious, but you can definitely hear it when you get on it. No cabin drone or any problems so far, but the large blue tips aren't for everyone. Good luck!

I love the look of titanium tips on Asian vehicles but I'm not crazy about the idea of them on a Mini.

There may be a way to polish the burn look off them though.
