Sure, MINIs with RFT are noted for a bit of a harsh ride...especially with Sport Suspension.

Mine was about as I expected, but this morning I thought to check out my tire pressures against the door sticker (which called for 33 lbs for my 195-16's).

Good news: all consistent, within a lb of each other. Bad news: *45 psi* in each tire...geez. Just a "little" over-inflated!

Setting them back to 33psi as called for, of course it's now a lot more tolerant of expansion strips and such.

Just a note that if you've taken recent delivery, maybe check your tire pressures. Perhaps they have some over-inflate policy so they don't get flat spots on the boat ride, or something. Whatever.

Glad you mentioned this - I've been meaning to make a similar post. Picked up my '12 JCW hardtop in Feb and discovered 48! lbs in all 4 tires after a week of driving.

 

picked up mine on friday morning. just checked and you're right. my tires were at 38. not as bad as you guys but still...
