R56 Spark plugs - still a difference in S vs. JCW?
Spark plugs - still a difference in S vs. JCW?
I'm about to order some spark plugs for our r56 cooper S auto.
There's a post I've seen on many forums which lists the following info:
[R56] Cooper S: NGK: PLZBR7A-G and JCW: NGK: ILZKBR7A-8G tightening torque: 15-20nm (10.8-14.5 lbs/ft) thread diameter/pitch M12 x 1.25 socket size 14mm, electrode gap: pre set, heat range 7
Checking realoem and a couple of other parts stores lists the ILZKBR7A-8G as being correct for our car, and looking up a JCW on realoem lists the same part number. I can't find the 'P' plugs, only the 'I' plugs, and am wondering what the situation is.
As best I can tell the ILZ ones are correct for this car but if anyone knows for certain I'd really appreciate some help.

He has a lot of information relating to the ignition system and why which plugs are recommended.
