Great thread!

I'm the second owner of a 2009 Pepper White/Black MINI Cooper S. I've owned it for about a year and a half now and I absolutely love it! Picked it up with 8,600 miles and it currently has just over 27,000! No troubles at all. Serviced regularly and it runs like it's brand new! I haven't done any mods to it yet (previous owner put 17" Koenig Featherlite rims on it), but I will be getting my wheels powder-coated in Satin Black and will be investing in a carbon fiber hood scoop as well. More miles=more smiles!

Happy Motoring!

-G.B.

Got mine with 1,700 mi on it; it now has about 4,500. The thermostat went out at around 3,000 mi but I still consider it trouble-free because my dealer made it such a breeze to have it replaced. That goes a long way with me (no pun intended).

Wow! Great start to a positive thread that will hopefully go on for a long time. I will be posting up at major mileage milestones throughout my ownership of the MC while living the dream. Please do the same...

Check this out. 2012 Mini Cooper wins the #1 spot in Motor Trend "Unusual Suspects" article. Way to go Motor Trend. We know you got that one right!

2011 MCS Got her March 2011 has 26,500 miles to date, rear ended in november with 5.5K in damage, 3 tires and 1 wheel replaced under the tire warranty, and one repaired chip in the windshield.

Not trouble free under my definition but the car has started every time and is as strong as the day i got her i love Charlotte! she has yet to have a issue that is cause by herself yet.

2009 S - 30,000 miles
one hood scoop
I average 34.6 mpg
Mostly highway driving. Average speed 50 mph. I have been changing the oil myself (Mobil 1) about midway through the OBC Service countdown (without resetting) and having the dealer do it when the service alert comes up.
New Tires (Continental DWS) at 27,000

08MCS that has 2200 miles since the rebuild. I got the car after the original owner rear ended someone. My son and I put it back together, and after working out all of the crash issues, it seems to be running great. The car had 56,128 miles and was trouble free before the crash, and hopefully will continue to do so.

41,000 on an 07 Justa purchased new. Only one failure that stopped me dead. The steering wheel lock, permanenty locked and wouldn't allow the car to start. Its only a problem with early 07s, the part being later deleted. I had to have that towed. Water pump leaked and was replaced under warranty, but it was driveable. Other than that and a few rattles the dealer successfully hunted down and fixed, never a problem.

Just under 10,000 miles on a '10 Justa, and no problems at all. Well, nothing that isn't normal like wiper blades. Did my first oil change myself about 2k ago.

Not officially an R56 but it is a Clubman S 2008 with 89+K and the only trouble has been the know issue of a HPFP and that was taken care of at 33K. Other than that battery died after three years. Oh and 3 sets of summer tires (i drive it hard and use soft rubber tires).

Black Ice just rolled through 5,000 trouble free miles and pulling strong. In fact I got it past the 100mph mark the other day. Hit 110mph and backed off. The little MC still had more to go! Not a shake, wabble or anything; just smooth as can be. Surprisingly not light on the road either. Even my past Porsche Boxster S got light on the road at about 110mph and worse over that.

Coopers Rock!

Just hit 67000 in my 2008 Cooper. Bought it with 37000 miles on it and I feel I have a good one! If feels great and I have not had any issues, exept and oil cooler coolant leak when it was still under warranty. I want a Clubman, but I feel I lucked out with this one.

I had the dealer do an oil change on the March 30th. Just to get the break in oil out.

I love this car!

Over 10k now, still no trouble. Well, like someone stated in a different thread, the only trouble I have is that I keep having to put Petrol in it for some reason. Stupid tank keeps going empty.
