Hey guys I'm doing some research for a turbo back exhaust and was trying to get opinions on which exhaust to get based on sound and performance. Price doesnt really matter. Weblinks would definately help though

Not bad, not Much h.p gain for 2200 tho, alta makes a catback which puts 10-12 h.p for $800

 

 

steve is right.. by far the best on the market is the AK.. i love alta and their products but the exhaust weighs a lot and the 3 inch in diamater is not neccessary for the mini and it is extract weight... i love alta but the increase in power i heard is a little flakey claim, my boy has and doesnt seem like it added all those horses... best of luck and i am currently saving up for the AK exhaust, along with the downpipe, and carbon fiber tips...

 

I don't always use the search function for exhausts, but when I do... I use the NAM search tool

Alta no longer has their down pipe for sale and their exhaust is not direct bolt on. So good luck with that. There are other options.

ya ill look for something, alta is good but if its not a direct fit then forget it. And the AK exhaust with carbon fiber tips does look good but i think i like the sound of a lot of the other exhausts out there

 

I really hate trying to find an exhaust, youtube clips are a great way to start but it is very hard to base your choice on....

I have pushed up off ordering an exhaust only because I have not been able to hear any of them in person or drive around in a car with any!

Hopefully at Mini's in the mountains this year that will change!

 

Ya I think the worst is when you get one and don't like it, 1000$ wasted :(
