Exactly. I would like a set of the blue tinted mirrors like on the BMWs. Cuts down on the glare of all the jacked up trucks in the area and semis...

Thanks for the link, definitely going to try that on my next drive (glare in the MINI really is an issue for me). For those who want the blue tinted mirrors, why not just get the auto dimming mirrors and do a retrofit? I'm not certain how difficult it is, but I think my next MINI will definitely have auto dimming mirrors for that reason alone!

I already have the Auto-dimming Rearview Mirror w/HomeLink, but it's the side mirrors that still get the BRIGHT Lights blarring at me!!

I thought you could get auto dimming side mirrors...

I can't believe that I've been driving for decades with my mirrors improperly adjusted! I changed them to the suggested positions and no more blind spots! It does take some getting used to because I can't see my car in the mirror, but as someone here suggested, why do I need to see my own car?
