NM Eng. CF Aerodynamics

Hello all. I was browsing for some mods and NM Engineering has some nice CF aerodynamics that will be available 11/15/2011 according to their website. Hopefully I'll have my MINI back, if not, I'll be looking forward to see some pics of the new products on your MINIs.

....reads like an advertisement for NM but I'm just sharing what I came across today.

I just saw it too, all carbon fiber pieces! i love their side scuttles! i wonder if they will offer a splitter for the JCW front bumper in the future, also i've seen that the JCW front bumper has change for 2012, i wonder if the plastic splitter is more agressive than the one from the year before

NM CF Splitter & Scuttles

I just Pre ordered the CF LED scuttles and CF front splitter. In case anyone was wondering the front splitter was 499.00 and the scuttles were 369.00. Its a little steep but the website said there was limited quantities....haha. Im just hoping that ill have something on my Mini that everyone and there mother doesnt have 2. Ill post back when they arrive and after they are installed. The front splitter also looks a little beefier than M7 and doesnt have the 2 supports so you dont have to drill holes.

IMO their side scuttles are terrible looking (WHY SO HUGE!?), and their splitter is $200 more than m7's, and doesn't come with the rods to hold it on. I'd be scared driving over 80 with that thing barely attached to the front of my car.

Just got Delievry

So i just received the CF scuttles and splitter. The Scuttles are awesome as far as looks but they are held on by ******** Double sided tape , is this a joke? almost $400 for scuttles held on by double sided tape I live in NY where its about to be 30 degrees and snowing for 3 months and have to worry about these scuttles blowing off my car. I cannot even explain how pissed I am right now. What was NM thinking, I am to say the least extremely disappointed given the usual quality of NM's products. The splitter is gorgeous but is chipped 2 times on one end. I feel like Im on the wrong end of a horrible joke.

I hope the splitter isn't attached the same way... There really aren't any clips on the back at all?? It's just a flat surface??

Yeah, seems like a TOTAL ripoff of people who support them pretty well. Why would you charge that much for something that "sticks on"? I'd say send it back, and go on Ebay and buy from the guys selling the carbon fiber scuttle covers for around $100 or so. They ship quick, and their stuff is quality...for a stick on. $400 stick on scuttles! What a joke NM!

I'm a big Aaron Neumann fan - after all, I'm a water-cooled VW guy going WAY WAY back to the early days of Neuspeed. But those CF side scuttles - really? Those jumbo sized atrocities look like A$$ and if they're held on by double-sided tape, then that's way way beyond unacceptable. But I wouldn't care if they were held on by exotic rare-earth magnets, they're just way too f'ugly to ever deface the sides of my car! C'mon Neumann, you guys can do better.

It's almost like a "These MINI idiots will buy anything carbon fiber, and at any price no less!" mentality. I'm actually offended, as we all should be with crap like that. It's like these shops selling hot side silicone tubes and metal piping for $300 that I can make myself for $25. Really, you think that's $300 worth of product? Are MINI owners that wealthy and I didn't get the memo? We buy it though, and that's why they're rich, I guess.

Their website has install instructions which explains how the side scuttles and spoiler install. Not sure if it was there when you installed.
