I thought previous posters said that the paddle shifters weren't available with the JCW steering wheel?
I don't know, I drive a manual tranny.

I know others were asking for some updates on folks that had success on getting the recall completed.

I took my 2013 MCS in for the recall and first service (a couple other items too) and it took a few days but they did it. All is well. Seems the tech did a great job, no new rattles or anthing like that. I'm happy with them. I did notice the mini I test drove had them then the one I got didnt. The dealer told me from day one it would be taken care of.

I know my car is older, but I have an '09 S and it has paddle shifters.
Also, last time I was in a showroom I DID notice that the 2011 S did have paddle shifters

Dropped my '12 JCW Aero Mini at the dealer today. Mini district rep to see it tomorrow and comment on the lack of paddle shifter and we'll see what happens. For some reason my VIN number is not on the list of cars that were built without the paddles installed. So far no one at selling dealer or Mini customer service (their given title) has been able to comment on this discrepancy.

Know one does seem to really know..my 2013 JCW MINI came with paddle shifters.. But my friend ordered the same year but showed up with out them.. my MA was completely baffled by this.. they had no answers.. But I do know they took care of my friend and he has them now..

I have a positive attitude about this..... ....well, I will until they say NO, at which point I may ask how and where he did this.
