So I really like the new 911 (991) Led running light and I notice on my 2011 Cooper S there are slot above the brake ducts that run to the fogs.

I think a properly install led would add a cool addition while looking factory?

Go for it. I always say, when it comes to lights and being visible, the more the better...at least up to a point. You don't want it to look like a Christmas tree.

I think there would be a market for such a conversion / aftermarket accessory. I'd be interested.

 

What's funny is I do not like them, many high end cars have them and so do your run of the mill 90's cars once they found them in autozone and discount autoparts stores. I will pass until I see a classy setup. IMO few have been that I have seen.

 

I've been looking at the DRL replacement headlights. They add the led's, and a halo I think. There are a couple different versions. I thought they might look pretty cool, like the Audi R8. I really like the way yours "might" look. If you install them, post pics, I'd love to see it and get some more ideas!
