Absolutely, with a manual you can tear your MINI down to the last nut and bolt.
I have also had Haynes Manuals for every vehicle I've owned.
I've discovered my labor is far cheaper than the dealers, and my mechanical skills, are by far better, than I have ever encountered at the dealer.
I can rebuild almost everything, although I need the wizards who can do the machine work. If I only had a Bridgeport.
time to scan it into a PDF and offer to the community for free.
Scan 1058 pages, throw it into a .pdf and make it free? Will the "community" kick in to cover his legal costs on a copywriter infringement lawsuit? Really?
Dude, the manual is $88.17 at Amazon with free shipping.

Bentley has been very helpful to many MINI owners and even went so far as to update their book to include post 05 model changes and the Cabrio features when it came to their 1st Gen books, something they don't typically do; influenced largely because of urging of the MINI community. I'm glad to see that the 07+ book has a arrived, I know there's a lot of DIY'ers out there that look to it for help and even more folks that just like to learn about every nut and bolt on the car.
I ordered mine from Amazon back in July, but still hasn't shipped yet. For $88 its a cheap investment. I think I paid $105 for the Bentley manual for my 1988 VW Jetta 16V (back in 1989).
I too, ordered mine from Amazon a couple of months ago and haven't received it. If I remember correctly, they had a September shipping expectation, so it should be soon
