R56 Local Seattle Shop Recommendation?
Local Seattle Shop Recommendation?
Does anyone know anything about the local MINI/BMW non-dealer specialty shops? Are there any that anyone can recommend to use or avoid? I'm in the Queen Anne area and would love to begin a relationship with a good, fair, reputable Mini shop.
Thanks, Pete

I have tried 2 shops so far. First would be group 2 motorsport they installed a pulley and bypass valve for me. Reasonable prices. But unfortunately on my bypass valve install they didnt put everything back together tight enough so i lost some bolts for my intercooler.
2 would be zahntech where I had some general maintenance done. But there was issues. I supplied a new 15% reduction belt with the maintenance and somehow they put the wrong belt on. They were helpful and fixed it for free. But still I dont understand how you put the wrong one on when I gave you the right one.
So unfortunately I Dot have a great place. Still looking after 2 years of mini ownership.

Thanks. The shops I am aware of are:
PRECISION MOTORWORKS
SCANWEST AUTOSPORT
FAT CITY
EuroCar Service
German Auto Center
I hope Precision is good, they are the most convenient. May give them a try unless someone recommends a better shop.
