Hey everyone,

Just purchased the first Mini of my life today. A used 2007 bone stock base British Racing Green Cooper. I had to celebrate with a few things - buying a Mini tshirt and of course becoming a member of owner's forums! Since it is a forum- I will post a couple questions...

Any highly recommended mods for a base 1.6?
How much did some of you pay to get the windows tinted on your Minis?

Welcome and congratulations! Most popular mod is probably a rear sway bar, 19mm is good, and a cold air intake makes a nice sound and a little extra power. There are a ton of threads on here to slog through, lots of valuable information on mods!

Tint shouldn't cost you more than $120 without a tip, but I've gotten it as cheap as $100 for every window besides the front windshield. Couple mods might be H&R Springs for $300 that will lower your car about 1.4" without having to get an entire coilover setup, possibly an M7 front lip for that track car look, an exhaust to help with sound if you're like, and just enjoy the heck out of it. Maybe a sub if you'd like one.

No ideas about the exhaust, I don't like changing mine because it makes the car louder and will attract extra attention.
