Happy Day!

Just got these in today. I had to buy them since it was the cheapest I've found them. They were less than $700 with shipping. I just gotta get em wrapped in rubber and Im good. Gotta wait though, job issues. I couldnt pass up the deal though. Funny, the ad said Yamaha Black.... I thought hey I have a black Yamaha R6, why not lol.

wrapped in plastic

nicely boxed
Oh btw they are 17x7.5

You will really like the ROTA RBs. I almost ordered Black, when I got mine last summer, but I'm still very happy with the silver...although, that Black looks really nice...
If you're buying new rubber, may I suggest non-run-flats. For me, the change from 18s to 17s and switching to non-run-flats made a huge difference in comfort, but especially in handling.

I actually went from 17" Crown Spokes to 16" Rota RBs (not 18 to 17, as I posted earlier). I left the run-flats on the OEM wheels (now stored) and ordered a set of Bridgestone Potenza 195-55R-16s. As I said, the ride and handling improved a lot.
Center caps? I ordered silver-on-black circular MINI stickers for the centers of the Rota wheel hubs from Aesthetic Creations and put them over the Rota RB logos. Much better. (The "MINI" looks reddish in the photo. It's reflecting off the garage floor tile. MINI is written in silver.)

I mean the center cap on the Rota's stick out a bit. I wana see if the oem Mini caps fit the Rota's.
I almost got the silver ones too, wanted to keep up with the black and PW theme.

Does anyone know if its easy to install the TPM sensors in the wheels? I wana get a set online and put em on before the mounting of the tires.

Well I got the tires mounted on the wheels. I mounted them back on the car myself to save a few bucks. It was raining when I did it so no pics till I dry out, maybe tomorrow. Those center caps are hard as hell to put on, I already broke a clip on em.

Automan, if you need a spare centercap, I have a spare around somewhere. Good luck.

Thanks again, if this one pops out I will let you know. Just wish the center caps didnt stick out so far. Would have been cool to have them flush with the wheel.

front about 3 finger gap

shot from rear

rear about 2 3/4 almost 3 inches. It was the same with the RFs, a little off.

IMO they are a much softer ride than the RFs. A bit slushy tho, I mean I used to take an on ramp to the highway at like 50mph, a little squeal but no problem. Now with these I dont feel too stable, car leans a bit. Im guessing its the softer sidewalls compared to the RFs. Still breaking them in though.
