Anyone else have this problem?: My rear-view mirrior is coming apart. ... It seems like it's a force fit into the housing and it keeps popping out around the bottom. It's the first and hopefully only problem I've had with my MINI. I'm sure it's just a quick fix at the dealer, but it's still kind of a pain. I'm going to call the dealer this week.

 

I encountered this same issue on my 2011 MCS that is only a couple of weeks old. Calling the dealer in the morning to get this taken care of.

 

What did your dealer say/do? I'm taking mine in tomorrow. I hope I don't have to leave it there for long.

 

I take it in to be fixed. Better not be a charge since my car is only 2 weeks old.

 

Took less than 30 minutes and the dealer simply replaced my falling apart mirror with a new one. No charge as it was covered under warranty.

 

They fixed mine in no time, too. Also got a nice car wash and interior detail at no charge, also.
