I just got my 1200 miles break-in done and noticed that there is no redline indicator on my tach. I have never owned a car that had a redlineless tach. Where does the rev limiter cut in? Anyone have a suggested redline?

 

I 'm pretty sure redline is at 6500 rpm. I'm surprised it's not marked on the tach. You sure? My 2007 MCa and 2009 MCSa are marked.

 

Duh!! I didn't really look for it until today when it turned over 1200 miles, driving back from the beach. I just went and looked again and noticed that the incremental markings do not start until 6500 rpms. I then cut the lights on and 6500 rpms up turned red. It was not red in daylight.
