Hey all, been lurking 'round here for a bit. My mini dealer has a '11 MCS. It's missing Hamon Karden. Does have xenon, polar leather, etc. Is the lack of HK a deal breaker. I like to listen to sirius, howard mostly and music also. is the base stereo, decent? Will the leather hold up in FLorida, heat sun. might be parked outside quite a bit. plan on tinting windows.

The base stereo is absolutely awful, I couldn't live with it. Maybe there is an upgrade from the aftermarket but do you really want to go down that road?

Not sure about Polar Leather. Mini's cheap leather makes me nervous and Polar leather in Florida sun doesn't make me feel better.

 

I don't know what the standard radio sounds like, but I can tell you that the HK system is one of the best factory systems I've ever heard. Its clear, and loud.
