didnt even test drive it.
I just saved up my downpayment
went to the dealer and purchased my 05 MCS
no major problem so far in my 6th year 80k + miles.
still loving it.

That's is exactly what I got after the Mini was purchased back-the STI. What a great car! My comments were not intended for the first generation MCS and only for the second. The 2006 MCS is a different car and I think much more reliable since it is the last year of the first generation. Honestly I don't think Pegeot engines are designed for American roads and BMW should've never used one in their cars.

I rely on my mini to make me happy. so i think my mini is gonna be pretty reliable in the way i want it to be. So i think mini is the most reliable car brand out there
