On the TV show Leverage the group needed to steal nine High End cars to entrap the bad guys with.

The very first High End car they stole was a yellow Mini Cooper Convertible. I had to rub it in to my GF that the Mini is a very High end car that fits in well with all of the Porsche's, Ferrari's, BMW's etc they stole.

She don't like my JCW because she can't drive a stick shift.

I'm going to have to hulu that episode tonight and check it out. My wife is the same way about my Mini. Although she can drive a stick, she hates that it's so small compared to her SUV.

Trust me... I'm totally OK with that comparison if it keeps my car "MINE"!!

What was that old cliché about keeping them barefoot, pregnant and in the kitchen? Dangerous territory, that.

 

I'm sure it will be re-run so keep your eye open for it. I had pre-recorded it and can't remember when it was on. If you have Brighthouse they usually have it on primetime demand so you can see it there.

My GF Drives a Ford 150 extended cab pick-up. She is the type that floors her truck at every stoplight and waits until she is ten feet from a stop sign before hitting the brakes. She is a terrible driver and if anyone ever teaches her to drive a stick I will probably beat them to a pulp. ( Every day until they move out of Florida)

She always wanted to drive my Corvette when I had it and she scared the poop out of me everytime I let her. I would not ever let her drive it without me in the car to slow her down. The Vette was auto trans.

 

I haven't seen that episode yet, my son will love it he loves spotting Mini's in commercials/shows now that I have one.

Unfortunately my wife knows how to drive a manual, so I keep going out to run somewhere only to find my wife already took my car .
