Just bought a Ice Blue Mini Cooper S with a Black Top and Mirrors. Added Tint, Black Bonnet Stripes, Checkerboard Mirror Cover and an Alta CAI. Looking for the right new wheels and exhaust. I love the fact that you don't see a lot of other Minis this color.

 

welcome...would guess that the Official Ice Blue Owners Club parking area at MITM wont need to be very big...

 

You will notice other MINI owners having a "what color is that look?" on their face when they drive by.

 

Ordered an Ice Blue Clubman with black top and mirrors today! Manual (non-S :( ) and sunroof. Pretty basic.
I can't wait to get it even more now seeing the pics in this thread. I do wish I had gotten the black bonnet stripes and might see if it isn't too late to add them.

 

This is the day I brought the MINI home. It's been almost 2 months now. I need to wash and take more pictures. This was with my phone so the color isn't great.

Since the picture I had the windows tinted. Made the car look completely different.

 

Love it! I want black wheels on mine. Would love to see it with tint when you get a chance.

 

Best time to wash a car in Florida is when its raining...no water spots.

Love it!! I just moved out of Fla. Will miss that awesome car care weather. I was debating stripes too but I know I want black wheels eventually. My car doesn't even have a production date yet.

You made a great choice in color. Ice BLue is deep, thick and rich looking, and of course on the rare side. I tinted mine right away and love it. Also the black rims set everything off. You will love it.

I was traveling in San Luis Obispo last week-end (Central Cal Coast). My wife started nudging me fairly aggressively while we strolled the main street. Up rolled an Ice Blue Mini with a black top. My wife was so excited as that was the first one she has seen on the street. Dang it looked good. We both waived to the driver who gave us a "who are those crazy tourists" look.

Needless to say. We love out Mini.

 

I LOVE my Ice Blue. I want tint and black rims but was hit with a huge increase in insurance sooo mods will have to wait. Here are some quick pics I snapped this morning. <3

2011 Ice Blue MCS

 

I have a new ice blue mini will post pictures when it gets light out. White stripes, roof, and mirrors. Took the white wheels off my 05 Yellow Mini S and put on it and it looks GREAT !!

 

OK Here's the pics I promised. Got it July 8th in Nashville. Salesman said it's the 3rd 1 he's had. 1 convertible, 1 "S" 6-speed, and my "S" auto. Wasn't sure how I'd like the color, but I'm loving it !! Not another 1 in Knoxville, and people ask about it all the time. Had to have the white top and stripes though. Had sold my 05 "S" to a friend which was yellow with the white top and stripes, and has white 17 inch "S" lites on it, so I HAD to get him to swap, and since I financed his car for him, he couldn't refuse. My new car had silver 16 inch wheels, and I think the white 1's look a whole lot better. But -- no TPMS sensors in the S lites, so I'm living with the warning light all the time. If I find the sensors I need (for a 2011) , will they fit in the s-lites ?? I do love the look of those wheels on my car !! Just Got the 2005 s back. He ran into some $ trouble, so he gave it back to me. I may still sell it, but I don't need the $, it looks good in my garage, and it helps keep the miles down on the Ice Blue 2011s !! Pics of both on page 4 !!

 

I have a Ice Blue convertible 2011 that is two weeks old. I have been lots of complements on the color. I will post pictures soon.
