Hi, I got hit in a parking lot VERY hard while my car was parked. The person left a note and gave me his state-farm policy number and contact info. I'm pretty bumbed at the situation but I treated the guy with upmost respect for leaving the note. Anyways my hood, front bumper and front quarter panel need to be replaced along with some internal things I guess. Question is can I ask the dealership to install the JCW body kit instead of the regular cooper s one?? Please let me know as this will make at least some good in what is a bad situation and I need to take the car to the body shop tomorrow morning. Thanks

 

Sometimes they let you but you might have to pay the difference.

You got really lucky that the guy actually left you a note!!

State Farm should pay you based on the quote from their referred body shop. You should be able to talk to the shop about the JCW. I'm sure they would be fine using the JCW if you pay the difference.
