valve stems?? I lost one.....

anythign i need to know about here? How hard do i need to look? I dropped it when i was checking my air pressure and it vanished into the neather world...

Do you mean the gray valve cover that is sort of shaped like a thumb tack?

Don't look very hard, but I would pick up a cover to replace it so dirt doesn't get in there.

I do...and i ws just hoping it didn't have anything to do with the TPMS and was worth $50

I have a stone driveway....and it is well "stone" colored....and well "stone" shaped....but i don't think it is even on the ground...i was thinking it got hung up in the struts or rotors or something so i took the wheel off...still can't find it.

For future reference, they cost about $2.05 each at the dealer. Someone swiped both of the passenger side valve stem covers on our '10 Clubman.

Also, as a side note, use specific caps, you are safest with the plastic ones. Some of the metal used in aftermarket ones (and some BMW caps) will react with the valve stems and corrode them.
