Advice regarding new 2010 MINI purchase
Hi everyone,
I just joined this site and wanted to thank everyone here for all the discussions and advice given to new forum members and MINI owners.
I'm in the market to buy/lease a 2010 MINI Coupe and wanted to find out what kind of deal I can expect from dealers in LA/OC area?
Do they still have 0% on 2010 models? Can I get the car for or below invoice on the remaining 2010 models sitting on the lot? Do they still have any promotions going on? Free Auto?
Do you know the August lease terms for a 2010 MINI Coupe, 2yrs/12K miles? Or, any place where I can get the MF/Residual terms on these cars?
Not sure if I should lease or buy, but that will also depend on what terms are available out there in both leasing and financing.
Any advice would be appreciated--this is my first MINI and I'm excited to get this car.
TIA

Im not from California, but I would say start with checking the nearby dealer's websites. They usually have the incentives listed like rebates and special financing. I would assume they will negotiate a little on the 2010's but it really depends on the dealer, like how many cars they are selling and how much they need your sale, or how long a car has been sitting on their lot.
As for the leasing options I really don't know. I only went in with the intent to purchase my 2010 and didn't look into leasing.

Go to Mini USA
If you go to www.miniusa.com you can configure the car you would want. You can also go to your nearest dealers website and check out what they have in stock on their lot.

ronnie OP wants a 2010, not an 2011 y're right tho its good place to scope out color and accessory combos!
newminii call around town to see what the what 3-4 dealers have. try Escondido as well. All will be motivated to reduce stock, if they have any. This is the best time to get a MINI, before next model year rollout.
gone forever are the glory days of long waits and hefty dealer markups. As long as regular stays below $4/gal, it's a buyer's market. go0d luck

I was able to negotiate a really good deal on a 10 by checking all the dealer sites east of the Mississippi... I found one dealer with $3500 off one vert S and used that to bargain with my local dealer 100+ miles away... too bad my wife is dealing with some eye problems so I did not follow through

Theres only one way to find to what it's going to cost, you have to go look and negotiate face to face! It will take time and determination. Make sure you know what you want before you look, color(s), equipment, base or S, hardtop, clubman, convertible, get any offers in writing, don't be afraid to walk if they aren't willing to deal or you think they aren't taking you seriously. Good Luck!
