Should I Interchange my incoming Cooper D?

Im about to get my order ready to go. One question though.
What ya all think about a Interchange yellow Dooper with body colored roof and factory aerokit?
Is it gonna look good or should i go safe and stick with CR/CR?

This is the spec:

Sun roof
MFSW
autoclimate
antrachite headliner
black punsch leather
factory aerokit
white indicators
PDC
Radio boost
Sport button
black wheels
chili pak

am i missing something?

Your car is pretty loaded!!! I like your setup... The only things I would add to this car is the chrome interior package. As far as colour goes it's very personal but I would go with a black roof and black stripes to match the interior and wheels but again thats very personal... Nice to know that I'm not the only one here with a EURO R56 (MCS see specs below)

Well it looks like you have the car speced out pretty well, for me CR/CR is too much red, like my white roof, with Interchange yellow I would go black roof, once again IY/IY too much yeller for me.

I was playing around on the UK Mini website for a lil and got some questions. How much is your config? I was looking you could get a pretty decked One or First and have close to the same gas mileage as a D. Though the performance would be little less. If you were to compare it to the Cooper though the price and performance are about the same. I am looking at the Graphite now and it looks pretty sweet. I also really like MINI Uk's website though it is a little more difficult to use. Las thing what is the visibilty package offered in Europe? It doesn't have a product description and it has nothing to do with fogs, headlights, or rear fogs.

The MPG is much higher in the ONE compared to the D. And with a powerbox the diesel engines popes up to 140hp.
The price for the car is 26000 € thats like $ 35500. But Ive got a $ 4500 discount, so thats nice.

The visabilitypak is heated windscreen, rainsensor, auto dim mirror, heated mirrors and washers

Ya for that price you might as well say the hell with and get an S. Thanks for the visibility pack response. Get what makes you happy and can afford. You scratch a couple of the options and get the Recaro JCW seats in Alacantra those things are sexy as hell!

Actually I consider dropping punch and aerokit and go for the JCW seats, in leather though.

If I get a MCS i still would get the same options so the car would be even moore expensive

Yeah, I'm not very happy that MINI opened it up. I wasn't even happy when they made it available on the non-S R57.

Is there anything to designate a D on the MINI? An emblem, something? I don't think I've ever seen one in the wild.

You've probably never seen one in the wild because they aren't sold (or legal) in the states.

They aren't sold in the states but I ghly doubt that they are illegal. If you can link a pic of your build so we can get a look at what you got going on

They are illegal, as they don't meet the USDOT requirements.

What requirements do you speak of like safety or emissions? Safety shouldn't be a prob cause it is the same car. Plus you could probably get it in on a transfer one at a time.

Try to import any new euro car. You'll be jumping through hoop after hoop after hoop getting up to code.
