R56 My Quote for Extended Maintenance Program
My Quote for Extended Maintenance Program
$1995 for 3 year extension leading to 6 yr/100k.
mine expires 9/2010.
so far went in for oil change, change brake pads, and to change the timing tensioner.
before 9/2010 will go in to change windshield wipers and to secure the door of my handrest because it keeps opening when i rest my arms there when i drive..
what do u guys think of this price? i've read the other threads and saw that MSRP per year is $1395 and invoice is at $695...also read that it's $1395 for 3 years...i'm very confused right now!

$1995 is a joke. I just got my MCS in February, and I played my dealer against one in NJ to get the price I wanted. The NJ dealer (sorry, can't remember which one, but there can't be many) was offering it for $1,395. Search the other warranty thread and you'll see the NJ dealer's promo flyer. Good luck.
It depends on what you are talking about - there is extended maintenance and then extended warranty. Extended maintenance would be things like brakes, oil changes, transmission fluid changes, wiper blades...stuff like that. Extended warranty would be things that break - your armrest, for example, or failed motor mount or broken seat back or things of that nature.
I do believe MSRP for the extended maintenance plan is $1395 but the dealers can mark it up as much as they want, I suppose, to turn a profit...

If you're able to change your own oil and wiper blades and such why pay 1300 bucks? I know, some folks don't want to or can't or are unable due to where they live and those are the folks the extended maint is for.
But geez.......1300 bucks?
Get 'em to detail for you when you can come in for those fluid changes and wipers and brakes and stuff. What schedule do you have to follow?
