Are the headlight rings different for the regular headlight to that of a xenon headlight? I know that the xenon has the washers, but I am talking about the chrome headlight rings..are they different in dimensions?

 

Same size but the xenons have a little piece that sticks toward the middle of the light.

got plans to black out all the chrome and install blackjack mirror covers..I will see how it goes..

 

I had mine painted whit like the roof. I am not into the blackout but I don't like the chrome either.

u have the S grill but your cars a cooper??

 

If I am not mistaken, the "S" is a cooper too? But do not worry, I am not saying that my cooper is an "S" just by replacing the front grille. I merely replaced the chrome parts to black ones, except the boot part. I do not have the "S" scuttles, the "S" emblem in the rear, or anything that is particular to the "S" which is a MINI Cooper.

Yes, I do have a MINI Cooper with a JCW grille. That is why I love the MINIs because they can be customized to my liking. This is my Cooper, and I love the way it looks.

Actually, it's a JCW grill that is made specifically for the Cooper.

The Cooper S grill or Cooper S-specific JCW grill will not fit without significant modification.

 

I didn't know you can just paint the rings... Did it come out to your liking? should i just buy the black rings or try and paint it?
