I know that with BMW, and I assume Mini, leases, you can transfer the terms of your lease to another person on approved credit/application. Is this the same for Mini Select and Owner's Choice financing options?

I would assume that it would be likely, call the dealer an ask.

 

Mini Select is not a lease, its a loan. You may need to call the bank and ask them.

 

I'm aware. But it is marketed as "like-a-lease."

Anyways, no one was able to give me an answer. I called all three area Mini Dealerships (spoiled here in the Bay Area) and was not given an answer and left a message with Mini Financial.

 

I tired to do this with a Ford. IT WAS A HUGE PAIN IN THE BUTT. I had to find a buyer that would be approved. Lots of paper work. There are sites out there that help connect buyers and sellers.
