fun time with LEDs!!!

WARNING: LOT OF PICTURES.
A month a go i went lightbulb crazy and purchased fastmini.net's interior LED lightbulb kit; thanks Dan!! Includes bulbs for dome panel, footwells, puddle lights, glove box, and trunk.. all blue , and i requested the map lights in super white for obvious reasons
fastMINI

I also recently purchased LED bulbs for my rear plate and parking lights; and then Yellow bulbs for my fog lights to achieve that JDM-ish look.
They have built in resistors so no "light-off-chime" that some people get from a few of those ebay ones..

All of my passengers love the look at night. Most say it's like a night club now.

Reminds me of a clubman ad where people just keep climbing out of the back of a MINI with the party going inside the car being more fun than the night club (unfortunately I can't find it on youtube )

Looks good, is there an LED near the tow hook or is that just to show off the hook and vinyl?

Hey i think i remember seeing a commercial like that!

That particular picture was to show how the foglight blends in with the LED parking light even close up (some asked if the parking LED overpowers the foglight or vice versa). the towhook/vinyl's nothing exciting haha

Just wondering, how does the blue look during the day? I was thinking about doing the same thing in my AB R56

mattsenpai,

Sorry for dumb question. I looked at the Hoen's site under the "fitment guide" and it only has MINI models "Cooper / S to '06."

I assume you ordered the C5W/37mm fitment?

thanks

Oh i just now looked at the site for the plate bulbs i got the LEDs they offered but i dont see it there anymore, it's just those incandescents now i guess,
our license plate bulb size is a 39mm fitment (6148 bulb), but i managed to fit the C5w 37mm LED bulb no issue.
And our foglight size is h8

and Romo You can vaguely see it in broad daylight, just like your normal yellowish incandescent bulbs.. difficult to see, not much difference

i like the interior lighting. goes good with the white, might be overkill on my eb? could choose a dif color but i think blue would be the most subtle and "soothing". great work!

Haha well i did make the camera emphasize the light. It's actually like the factory ones, maybe faint-er

It's a cool look, in fact I would say it's a cold look. Might make me hit my heated seat button.
