Keep them. Be unique. You won't see another like yours and it looks good IMO.

I like the red. I don't think I would like a sharp contrast like white or silver. Probably go with extending them to the bumpers.

Thanks guys. Not sure what I am going to do yet. I like the look of mini's without stripes, especially black ones.

I expected people to say 'take them off' and only one person did. :|

Key is, by asking the question in the first place you answered it. Trust your instincts.

I guess you were looking for a take them off so it would better support your already made decision, that you didn't realize, that you already had unconsciously made. Your mind was set from the begining and just needed a little push. Go with your instincts like rrcaniglia had said. Its YOUR Mini, so do what YOU want regardless of others opinion to YOUR Mini (Its you who has to drive him everyday and look at him, and its better to be happy with what you place on him/her).

I have white stripes on my Bonnet and on the boot and a number decal on my door inside a circle and everyone at first hated my idea and i did the same of asking around like you have and realized I already had a decision made. I already knew I wanted them badly and was looking for others to say "Go for it, great idea, it would look great", but didn't get one person to say so. I realized I kept looking at him and asking should I and I knew I already wanted it no matter what others said and did it. I made the best decision on my baby boy and now everyone likes it (how weird huh?). So if your inclined towards one way, then follow that route. Its the best bet and you won't regret it (If you do, then hey, you can added them again). There you go

Oh yeah, that looks super great. Keep it clean. Those red wheels are neat.

I dig the red, but I agree that they should go down both bumpers.

Slightly off topic - Have you thought about doing matte black stripes? That would be cool.

The only thing I have considered is taking them off. Thought never crossed my mind to replace them with something else.

They go down the back hatch, but not down the bumpers. I wouldn't extend them anymore then they are.

Do the Mini emblems just pop off?

The emblem don't just pop off they are held on with double sided tape.

Just cut 1/3 way through with dental floss then go tothe other side and cut 1/3 way through then you can peel it off.

You can only go 1/3 through because there are teats into the bonnet
