they were a real pain because of the curve of our tail lights, I had to take them off and start over a bunch of times. And because I had no idea what I was doing, they had a lot of bubbles, but the directions said that if they don't go away after a few days, you can just use a pin to put a hole in the bubble so that the air can come out. I did this to all of the bubbles I had, and because the film is self-healing, they turned out looking pretty good.
Here are mine fitted...quite difficult on the tail lights because its such a big area but my second one came out better. the first one i did has a few bubbles but aparantly they disappear after a while...
i wouldnt bother with this! after 12 hours it has peeled up at the edges and lost its stickyness! its a waste of money...the only things that are any good are the reflector ones! but the tail lights now look crap up close with lots of bubbles
I have problems with mine too. Seems like Laminx likes to cut everything a tad too small. The bottom corners are peeling after a few months. User error maybe but I did vinyl sign work thru college.
I just bought some sheets thru stickercity so we'll see.
Haha wow I forgot this thread existed until now...The blackout taillights look awesome!..unforunately..I go back to college tomorrow with my neon...so I won't be around my mini unless I come home on a wkend.
