I have the Auto Meter Pro comp gauges for both water temp and oil pressure. Both comes with sensors and I have no idea where to install the sensors. Previous owner installed it on a 1st gen. What options do I have on my 2nd gen? Any ideas?

 

Water temp is easy. Buy this:

And you will get an accurate reading without having to cut into anything.

Oil pressure is another question. I'm not sure if i have seen an easy answer to that question on here yet. Good luck!

 

your can tap the sensor on top of the oil filter cap but make sure it seals tight

 

I will use a Cravenspeed adapter for the water temp. and I will be at Grassroots Garage next week for them to look at installing the oil pressure sensor. I will let everyone know what they say.

 

So, how did they do it?
Is it something us driveway/street (read:cheap) mechanics can do?
