Exposed wires in between seats

Heya Mini Community

Picked my 08 MCS a month ago - just noticed something a little concerning.

There are exposed wires in between each seat and the centre console. They plug into something cylindrical. Maybe the seat heater relay or something, not sure. I didn't think much of it at first, but then a couple of friends who were checking out the car asked if I had been messing with the wiring already! So I figured I'd ask if this is normal? I'm not sure why they didn't cover up the wiring in anyway, and its not something you normally see in new vehicles.

Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, couldn't find it in a search.

Thx

I think you are talking about the seatbelt sensor wires.

I remember seeing mine. No worries for me.
