Side Scuttle help!

Bear with me- I'm totally clueless. I have a basic MC, and I'm thinking of swapping out my generic black plastic side scuttles for something a little more fun I've been seaching through the forum and found some good info but I'm confused.....

*On this site, do I have to purchase part #770 and part #772?

And I see a lot of you have used this site:
http://www.aestheticreations.net/vin...icstickers.htm
*Is the $20 set a pair of stickies that I place into the carrier?
*What if I don't want the S? Do they only come in S?
*Can I purchase the carrier from the Moss Mini site and then the decals from the AC site?

Last question: While I'm at it, I'd like to swap out my orange blinkers. Is this a separate part from the scuttles?

Yes, the scuttle is one peice and the carrier is another, you need both.

Yes, they are just stickers

You would have to request from AC

Yes. you can.

It should just be the bulbs that are orange and you can change those, not sure what the law is there on what color of the bulbs need to be.

I didn't look at all the scuttles and such, but the repeaters (blinkers) are seperate from the scuttles. They come in orange or clear and as I understand are pretty easy to swap out at the same time. I believe you keep the orange bulb with the white lens to "keep it legal" but I'm not 100% sure on that (even though I have clear sidemarkers on my MINI).

Have you looked here

http://www.newministuff.com/new/shop...uctshow&id=528

The total price in pounds is 65, using the current exchange rate of 1.4352 and 5% discount if you put NAM in the comments section I come out to $88.62 shipped.

Has anyone purchased scuttles from them? I am just concerned that they are much cheaper than other ones sold.

No, I haven't heard of them- thanks for posting.

Anyone else have experience with them?

If the light is orange, it uses an orange lens and a white bulb. If it is clear, you need to use an orange bulb to remain legal (at least in the U.S.)
