I've hit the 126 mph limit in my MC. The big speedo said about 135, but the GPS said 126. I hit 93 mph in 3rd gear, 120 in 4th, and then it tops out a little faster in 5th.

Well I know TC drivers tend to think they're the fastest things around, flooring it through parking lots, at least all the kids in my area do .... But yea they're not as quick as they try to make the car look, 0 to 60 around 8.5.... But don't worry, no scion could ever keep up with a mini through the corners lol
TC drivers are jealous of our mini's

It had the exhaust pipes in the center. That makes it an S right? It had a stick shift too because i heard him rev it up before he popped the clutch and the tires spun while i glided away in silence. It chirped when he shifted too. Dont forget the MINI E has 204 horspower which i believe is more than the JCW.

Yep, twin central exhausts is a Gen2 S.
You bet a Mini E beats a gas powered car. That's the advantage of electric, fantastic torque off the line and it's easier to get moving. The problem is the top speed is lower and the E doesn't have the range of the gas. You also lose a bit of cornering ability because of the weight of the batteries.
FWIW: I regularly keep up with motorcycles when driving the local mountains here. Hard to beat the cornering ability of the MINI.
