Alignment needed?

Going from 195/55 R16 to 215/35/R18, wouldn't an alignment be needed?
Dealership, per my insistence, did align when 215/35/18 put on recently. When looking at 195/55/R16, removed same day with only 3,000 miles on them, noticed huge tread wear on outside of tires. I requested an alignment when
putting on the 195/55/R16, originally. Dealership said as 195/55/R16 are "new"
wouldn't require an alignment. Recent alignment print out showed 'before' Front L toe, 0.26*. Front R toe, 0.72* Front alignment combined before, showed .98* toe. Could this be considered a 'dispute' failing to honor my original request of an alignment.

Many Thanks.

Changing to different rims and tires does not require an alignment, unless you are fixing a problem with the car such as pulling etc.

If you paid for the alignment of the 16", then they should be aligned to OEM specs.

What did you tell them to align your car to? OEM? I do not remember OEM specs anymore because I do not align my car to those specs. But if those are within OEM specs, then your car is aligned.
